Chalk Drawing

In this piece I used side walk chalk to draw the famous, Creation of Adam, by Michelangelo. The surface was in the sidewalk making the texture rough and bumpy. The chalk was very powdery not allowing full covered colors in. However since the original piece is on the wall it worked perfectly. The black chalk emphasizes the shape of the two hands

Memory Project

For this painting I used acrylic colors and water to balance and blend the colors. I used carious colors such as brown, black, white and red for the face and blue for the blouse. There is value in color used to emphasize the shadows of the face. There is plenty of space in the back ground to focus just on the portrait of the person.

Typogorphy Object

In this piece I used words to form the shape of a shoe. The few colors used in this piece along with the huge amounts space  are a form of unity so as to help create he image of the shoe.

Zoo Piece

In this piece I used acrylic paint. There is shape and form in regard to the snake itself. There are no set lines because of the shape of the snake. There is no white space, it is all covered. I used dark colors because as a snake it likes to blend in with its environment, however it is still noticeable.

Artist Trading Cards

In these pieces I used the elements and principles of color, shape, line, unity, space and balance throughout them all. They are each very different and unique in their own way.

Different Seasons

In this pice I drew two different seasons but the same scene. I used darker colors for winter and lighter ones for summer so as to differentiate the seasons. There is space in the middle to again emphasize the change. There is line and shape throughout the piece.

Typography Name

In this piece I used acrylic paint to paint my own name. My whole name is made up of crooked graffiti like lines. I added so,e of my childhood cartoons to balance it with my name. There are distinguishing colors that each bring out the other letter.
